Bramini bianchi e arancioni, seriosi e panciuti che corrono freneticamente da un tempio all’altro per fare le “puja” chiedendo in cambio rupie.
Gli imponenti carri sacri in legno scolpiti che stazionano nel centro della città in attesa del festival dedicato a Shiva.

They come from everywhere, in any way, carrying everything. The full moon of Yellamma refers millions of Pilgrims to Saundatti, a small village in Karnataka. Il premio Mother india School quest’anno è andato al giovanissimo Antonio Gervasi, con un racconto intimo e moderno sulla sua relazione di coppia con Quyên, una ragazza vietnamita. Per la prima volta Mother India School istituisce il premio “LETIZIA BATTAGLIA” – DONNE CHE RACCONTANO LE DONNE”, consegnato a Viviana Corvaia, con un racconto delicato su Ema, giovane madre, della costa D’Avorio che vive a Palermo.The Mother India School award this year went to the young Antonio Gervasi, with an intimate and modern story on his relationship with Quyen, a Vietnamese girl and, for the first time, Mother India School establishes the “Letizia Battaglia” award – WOMEN TALK ABOUT WOMEN, won by Viviana Corvaia with the delicate story of Ema, a young mother from Ivory Coast who lives in Palermo.
